So what can you grow in Summer?

2. Composted manure
1. Prepare the site - it should have lots of sun and be well drained. Dig in sufficient composted manure.
2. Plant the crowns - with the buds pointing upwards, 45cm apart and 5cm below the surface.
3. Cultivate the crowns - cover with mulch and allow to grow feeding with water regularly
4. Harvest - DO NOT harvest in the first year, allow to grow out, to develop a strong root system. Harvest in the second year, the more you look after the plant the longer it will produce quality asparagus.
