Quinoa

Quinoa was first cultivated some 3,000 to 4,000 years ago in the Andean people, and it was the Incas that held this crop to be something sacred. It has been an essential source of food for many cultures as it is high in protein, dietary fiber and several B vitamins. This makes it increasingly popular today especially throughout the western cultures, who are always looking for healthier options.
