Davidson Plum

Davidson Plum is an native of Australia, predominantly in the NSW region.The trees fruit from November through to February and are peculiar in that fruit emerges from the trunk as well as upon the upper branches. They have an extreamly tangy taste, for many people too much to eat raw, though they are perfect for jams, and souces. The fruit is high in magnesium and potassium.
