Anise Myrtle

Anise Myrtle, or Ringwood is a rare native Australian rainforest tree, which has an aromatic leaf with essential oils comparable to true aniseed, which is cooling on the palate. It has a distinctive aroma of menthol and aniseed. It has been use by indigenous communities to alleviate stomach complaints, and promote lactation for new mothers. It is high in many essential minerals and vitamins such as vitamin A, C & E, phenolics, magnesium, and lutein.
