Agar Agar

Agar is derived from certain species of algae seaweed, that is released during boiling. It has been used in desserts through out Asia for hundreds of years, as well as being used as culture medium in laboratories for microbiological work. Agar was discovered in Japan by Mino Tarozaeman in 1658
